Fennel is one of the most useful spices in home remedy. Its have lots of benefits and it can cure most of the diseases but before lets know about its biological source and family.

Lets know about some uses of fennel in home remedy.

1. Used to increases the light of the eyes.

Eat 1 teaspoon fennel seeds after meals every day, or take one teaspoon of fennel powder mixed with one spoon of sugar candy and take it with sleeping milk at night.  Fennel powder can also be taken with water in place of milk. 

2. Used in the treatment of cough

Mixing 10 grams of fennel extracts with honey and taking it 2-3 times a day cures cough.  Or boil 1 teaspoon aniseed and 2 teaspoons celery in half a liter of water and then mix 2 teaspoons of honey and filter it.  Drinking 3 spoons of this decoction at an interval of 1-1 hour provides relief in cough. It can also be mark as home remedy for cough.

3. Used in weight loss

Some people ask a question are fennel seeds are good for weight loss then the answer of this question is yes. Regular intake of fennel also helps in reducing weight and obesity.  Because consuming fennel strengthens the body’s digestive system.  Due to which fast calories are burnt.  With this, you get relief from excessive hunger. It is home remedy for weight loss.

4. Used in the treatment of cancer

Fennel has an anti-cancer element called Cologne, is found in abundance.  Apart from this, anti-inflammatory phytonutrients are found in fennel seeds.  Which prevents the growth of breast cancer cells in the body.

5. Used in the treatment of fever and dizziness

If you consume aniseed tea with fennel seeds or hot water 2 times a day (also known as fennel tea), it eliminates the problem of dizziness, fever and cough present in the body. you can also use fennel in dizziness.

Access level of fennel in body can create following problems in the body.

  • Difficulty breathing.
  • Tightness of chest/throat.
  • Chest pain.
  • Nausea.
  • Vomiting.
